We are looking for a seasoned Product Manager to join our Platforms Product team working on multiple facets of our Employee Technology Solutions. These solutions are leveraged by all our employees when developing awesome experiences for our customers and suppliers, or when serving their needs.
Particularly, this person will be joining our internal employee technology teams responsible for planning, executing and handing off large, complex, cross-functional technology dedicated to serve our employees across our operations. These teams own everything from employee onboarding and continued productivity support, productivity tools, asset management and in-office experiences. The goal of this team is to solve dynamic technology needs for Wayfairians everywhere by providing them a frictionless technology support experience.
We are looking for a Technical Product Manager to define and execute the strategy for our networking, security, cloud, and observability solutions. This role is crucial for delivering secure, efficient, and cost-effective solutions that support thousands of users at Wayfair. The focus areas include:
- Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) & Application Security: Enable secure access and protect critical data.
- Cloud Networking & SD-WAN: Improve network performance and scalability.
- FinOps (Cost Optimization): Drive cost efficiencies in our infrastructure.
- Network Observability & CCaaS: Enhance operational insights and customer interactions.
The goal of these technologies is to boost security, streamline operations, reduce costs, and improve the overall user experience. These technologies are used to support mission critical systems, hence requiring a person who can balance operational efficiency along with continuous improvement goals. This person will work with cross-functional teams and leaders, including operations, science teams, engineers, analysts, on capabilities needed for efficient operations while enabling technologies for reimagining our customer and supplier experiences.
What You’ll Do:
- Own the product strategy & roadmap, specifically define & drive the networking, security, FinOps, and observability product roadmap aligned with business goals
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and user (internal) feedback to influence product decisions
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through network optimization, automation, and cloud cost management strategies
- Collaborate with public cloud, data, and AI teams to integrate Conversational AI with Employee Technologies, such as Genesys Cloud and CCaaS.
- Define product strategy and requirements for Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) solutions, ensuring alignment with customer needs and compliance objectives.
- Partner closely with engineering, security, and cloud teams to prioritize and deliver network observability capabilities, driving adoption of AI-driven analytics and performance optimization tools.
- Lead product-driven FinOps initiatives by identifying cost-saving opportunities in cloud networking, collaborating cross-functionally to optimize resource utilization and improve overall cost efficiency.
- Drive the roadmap and integration strategy for Conversational AI solutions within Genesys Cloud CCaaS platforms, emphasizing scalability, performance, and enhanced customer experiences.
- Facilitate cross-functional alignment among engineering, finance, security, marketing, and sales to execute product launches, define go-to-market strategies, and clearly communicate progress and outcomes to executive stakeholders.
We Are a Match Because You Have:
- 5+ years of product management experience in owning products in networking, security, cloud, or FinOps.
- Experience leading large-scale, cross-functional programs enabling over 1,000 users, with responsibility for change management, training, onboarding, and driving product adoption through clearly defined success metrics.
- Working understanding or experience with Genesys Cloud, Conversational AI, and CCaaS solutions.
- Knowledge of cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid cloud environments.
- Familiarity with FinOps, cost-saving strategies, and cloud financial governance.
- Knowledge of network automation, SD-WAN, SASE, VPNs, and security frameworks.
- Experience working with network monitoring tools (Datadog, Splunk, New Relic, Prometheus, etc.).
- Proven ability to drive cross-functional collaboration, roadmap execution, and product innovation.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- Experience in network security, AI-driven observability, and incident response.
- Knowledge of ZTNA vendors (Zscaler, Palo Alto, Cloudflare, etc.).
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Ansible.
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes networking and service mesh architectures.
- Experience in B2B SaaS, FinOps strategies, and AI-driven networking solutions
