Who We Are

This role reports directly to the Senior Manager of Enterprise Tools and collaborates closely with the Security, Corporate Communications, HR, and Marketing teams to enhance the employee experience with a variety of IT services including Google Workspace, Proofpoint, Slack, Docusign, Confluence, and more. This team is responsible for managing and supporting enterprise applications used across Wayfair and is focused on delivering efficient and well run services that meet the needs of our Wayfair employees. This hands-on technical role is vital in designing and implementing automated processes, as well as establishing scalable policies and standards..

What You’ll Do

  • Drive a variety of product-driven initiatives around solving strategic challenges, coordinating vendor roadmaps, onboarding new services, and working with business partners to improve the employee experience
  • Support the acquisition of new tools, from requirements gathering, selection and testing, to purchase and deployment with rollout planning and integration with existing tools.
  • Configure, integrate, test, deploy, and maintain SaaS tools for employee use; create product and support documentation for end-users to ensure effective use of those tools
  • Manage the Slack platform including deploy new features, define app/API integration policies, and review external and guest account requests.
  • Oversee Google Drive (storage), Docs, Sheets, and remaining Google Workspace tools 
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as Corporate Communications, to define business requirements and address key challenges.
  • Monitor new product releases and seek ways to enhance continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Actively participate in resolving high-priority outages, troubleshooting efforts, and capacity/availability planning sessions.
  • Implement best practice policies and procedures for onboarding, scaling, security, backups and disaster recovery, for all services.
  • Create and maintain documentation for system configuration, mapping, processes, and service records.
  • Assist with contract renewals, ensuring timely negotiations and alignment with business needs.

What You'll Need

  • A minimum of 8 years of demonstrated experience overseeing the planning, design, development, and implementation of software systems and applications.
  • 5+ years experience managing various SaaS tools for a global workforce of 5000+ users
  • An deep technical understanding of email technologies such as SPF, DKIM, DMARC
  • 5+ years experience using APIs for either automation of management or for bot and app integrations
  • 3+ years of experience with scripting or programming languages such as Powershell or Python
  • Excellent customer service skills to work with employees, vendors and stakeholders on delivering technical services. 
  • Experience with a continuous engineering or other agile methods to keep pace with frequent changes and to reduce complexity
  • A strong work ethic with a high aptitude for understanding and learning the administrative features of new SaaS tools.
