At Wayfair, our Global Supplier Technology team is responsible for providing the vision, analysis, and execution necessary to delight suppliers with world-class experiences on our Partner Home platform. We are organized into small, focused, fully-resourced, and empowered teams to operate with the speed and focus of a startup, while benefiting from the resources of an established eCommerce leader.

Wayfair is looking for a talented Product Manager to join our Supplier Technology team, focusing on enabling seamless onboarding for our Asia-based supplier base to sell on Wayfair's US platform. This role is pivotal in driving the success of our global supplier ecosystem by understanding local supplier needs, navigating regional regulations, and optimizing processes for supplier onboarding.

As a Product Manager, you will partner closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, compliance, business operations, and supplier relations, to deliver capabilities that simplify onboarding, streamline KYB (Know Your Business) processes, and enable suppliers to scale efficiently. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of how Wayfair engages with and supports suppliers across Asia.

What You’ll Do:

  1. Understand Supplier Needs:
    • Develop a deep understanding of local supplier pain points, workflows, and requirements.
    • Gather insights on regional compliance, operational nuances, and cultural considerations.
  2. Regulatory Alignment:
    • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to local regulations in supplier onboarding and KYB processes.
  3. Capability Definition:
    • Define and prioritize capabilities that enable suppliers to onboard onto Wayfair’s platform.
    • Create detailed requirements, user stories, and workflows to guide development teams.
  4. Roadmap Ownership:
    • Develop and maintain a clear product roadmap that aligns with business goals and supplier needs.
    • Balance short-term deliverables with long-term strategic initiatives.
  5. Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Partner with engineering to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within scope.
    • Work with supplier-facing teams to ensure smooth rollout and adoption of new features.
  6. Performance Monitoring:
    • Define KPIs to measure the success of onboarding improvements and supplier satisfaction.
    • Continuously iterate on solutions based on data and feedback.

What You’ll Need:

  • You’ve spent 10+ years leading cross-functional product teams to amazing outcomes
  • Your manager or team members have complimented your accountability and organization
  • You are a master at problem breakdown and guiding groups through structured decision making
  • You love testing and experimentation and have built roadmaps based on tests and experiments
  • You are data-obsessed: you monitor your KPIs and perform ad hoc analysis to figure out what’s next
  • You hold a high bar and grow & develop your team to meet it, and your team likes you for it
  • Your stakeholders praise your communication and collaboration, even though you say “no” to them
  • You can talk about times you took initiative to achieve goals meaningful to you or your team
