This road network is critical to autonomous driving and contains the semantic map information that our fleet uses to navigate real streets in multiple cities, with centimeter precision, every day. Our engineers work to scale the storage and access of our map data to enable many other AI teams in the Software org, as well as internal teams of map data consumers and publishers. The Data Publication, Access, Deploy, and Scalability (DPADS) team treats our maps as a growing, living set of data products, promptly shipping content updates whenever the world changes.
Please note that interns at Zoox may not use any proprietary information they are working on as part of their thesis, any published work with their university, or to be distributed to anyone outside Zoox.

Compensation
The monthly salary range for this position is $6,500 to $9,500. Compensation will vary based on role, degree level and type, and benefits will be offered based on eligibility. Additional benefits may include medical insurance, 401k, and a housing stipend.
