The Program Management Office (PMO) at Zoox is responsible for driving cross-functional program planning and execution at the highest level. We partner with leaders from across the company in vehicle development, system design, software engineering, manufacturing, fleet operations, and business functions to develop and deliver major corporate milestones on the path to launch and beyond.
Our program managers contribute to the end-to-end success of technical, integrated product milestones involving both of our vehicle platforms - the Toyota Highlander test fleet and Zoox’s purpose-built robotaxi. PMO has teams focusing on AI & Autonomy, Robot Platform Development, Testing & Performance, and Service/Product readiness. All roles are deeply cross-functional, collaborative, and interdisciplinary.
The Configuration Management Technical Program Manager (TPM) in PMO is an experienced cross-functional program management leader that will be responsible for planning and execution of technical and integrated product milestones for our vehicle platforms. This role is a blend of execution and strategy. This TPM will manage the Configuration Management program end-to-end and will be responsible for the delivery of solutions and roadmap that oversee the architecture and meet the growing business needs. They will work to resolve issues as they arise by clearly identifying the problem, defining potential solutions and executing the chosen path forward. They will work with cross-functional stakeholders and leaders to ensure continuity of infrastructure and process, while we drive changes to configuration management processes and databases. The person must be an effective communicator who can tailor the message to the audience - engineers, middle management, or senior leaders, for progress updates, escalations, and resolution of issues.
