What we do
Germany is the growth engine for EMEA and this newly created role sits within the German Business Development team. This role is to lead a business development sales team focused on driving growth from our largest agency partners. We build trust and loyalty with our agencies by providing them with exceptional service, an open and transparent advertising platform, and useful insights which drive campaign returns and business performance.
What you'll do
- Lead an agile team of senior sales individuals representing the global and regional scoped responsibilities on a portfolio of our most strategic accounts
- Aid the team in developing win/win partnership structures to accelerate growth on a set of the world’s largest global advertisers
- Attract, develop, and retain talent to build and mentor a diverse team with the capabilities needed to achieve current and future global growth objectives
- Work collaboratively and cross-functionally with local and global Sales, Client Services, and Trading teams to build community around our global advertisers
- Collaborate with the head of Global Business Development for Advertisers in EMEA to establish account strategy, roles and responsibilities, market specific KPIs, and performance metrics
- Work closely with product, marketing, legal, and operational teams to constantly optimize efforts relating to company-wide goals
- Coordinate global account strategies with counterparts in NAMER and APAC regions
- Participate in product road map prioritization discussions based on client needs with senior leadership, product, & engineering
- Represent TTD on a global and regional stage
Who you are
- We are looking for a commercially savvy, senior sales leader with a proven track record of delivering results, building relationships, and cross functional collaboration
- Outbound sales experience at an online publisher, broadcaster, Ad Tech provider or other advertising role
- Existing relationships with decision makers at major agencies and global automotive advertisers
- A proven track record of hiring, developing, and leading senior talent
- Experience working across geographies in an overlay capacity with cross-functional teams
- Experience establishing longstanding, consultative client relationships
- Strong quantitative skills and negotiation ability, able to lead commercial negotiations for large global accounts
- Strong communication skills with an ability to speak with C-level clients
- Passion for owning a room, closing deals, and getting wins
- Proven track record of exceeding revenue expectations.
