What you'll do:
The Trade Desk is looking for an easy-going, highly motivated, skilled Senior Manager, Sales Presentation Design based in New York. The candidate lives to tell clear stories, primarily in Microsoft PowerPoint, through visual design while making complex layouts and topics easy to digest. Work can range from informative and technical sales enablement materials to abstract and conceptual presentations. Your work will have significant impact highlighting The Trade Desk’s benefits as a leader in the digital advertising industry. You will work within the global Sales Strategy team, supporting immediate team members, and Business Development and Client Service stakeholders across NAMER, EMEA, and APAC. In addition to design work, you will play a crucial operational role, overseeing request intake, developing and tracking timelines for a variety of projects, managing bandwidth across your team of two, and identifying areas for improvement pertaining to project performance and process.
The ideal candidate will have experience working across a diverse range of presentations and collateral and possess exceptional PowerPoint skills. S/he should have a penchant for maintaining consistent branding and a deep passion for creating work that drives results. This person should be a self-starter, able to work independently and collaborate with other team members and stakeholders — both locally and across different regions and time zones.
In this role, you will:
- Work within our established brand identity and maintain consistent branding across all presentations and sales enablement materials such as PowerPoint decks, one-sheets and other deliverables.
- Have strong typography and layout/text formatting skills
- Possess strong branding, storytelling, pacing and visualization skills
- Able to synthesize complicated information, making it easy to understand
- Love making interesting infographics rooted in data
- Lead the allocation of resources to inbound requests from internal Sales Strategy team members and Commercial team stakeholders across Business Development and Client Service on a global scale
- Develop and track timelines for a variety of projects ensuring adjustments are made as needed
- Ensure projects are meeting designated timelines and keeping team members on track to hit these dates – able to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
- Pull weekly reports of presentation design team’s output to determine bandwidth and resourcing needs
- Track project costs to meet budget allotted for outside support
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure clear communication amongst presentation designers and key stakeholders
- Be collaborative and able to address feedback from various teams
- Willing to exercise assertive stakeholder management pertaining to respectfulness of process and SLAs
- Manage a Sales Presentation Manager, from bandwidth to project completion to career development and everything in between
- Be curious, love learning new techniques and testing new hypotheses

Who you are:
- 8+ years of creative experience, ideally with exposure to project management within a creative/digital agency or in-house creative team setting
- Expert in PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Experience coordinating multiple projects and working under tight deadlines with multiple stakeholders
- Team player who can work both independently and in a group
- Clear communicator with excellent collaboration skills
- Trendsetter who is always seeking the latest and greatest in presentation design
- Creative thinker with the curiosity to learn all things programmatic and the nuances of the advertising technology industry
- Self-starter with a “let's roll up our sleeves and get it done” attitude

The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full-time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year.
