What you’ll do:
Reporting to the SVP of Revenue Operations, the Senior Manager, Revenue Communications will be responsible for leading and owning The Trade Desk’s global Revenue internal communications program. The Senior Manager focuses on both short and long-range planning and strategy, effectively building a cohesive and structured internal communications program aligned with The Trade Desk’s values and mission. This works closely with leaders across The Trade Desk to build alignment on, and awareness of, internal employee programs and initiatives, while defining and mapping long-term global internal communications strategy.
The ideal candidate has experience in a senior management position in the communications field, navigating a dynamic, evolving and growing business environment. This leader will be able to articulate a vision and employ concrete project management skills to reach that vision. This person is a self-starter, able to build relationships and collaborate with others, locally and globally.
The Senior Manager, Revenue Communications will:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive internal communications strategy for the Revenue organization
- Understand The Trade Desk’s leading business differentiators and values, integrating these into the internal communications program
- Act as a communications advisor to drive The Trade Desk’s Revenue strategy and business priorities through an effective internal communications strategy
- Partner closely with various stakeholders across the company including the broader marketing, employee engagement, and HR teams to develop and execute communications plans for internal initiatives
- Identify opportunities to advance internal communications excellence by improving and developing new communication tools and channels aimed at enhancing internal communications efforts
- Coach and provide staff development support for internal team members
- Measure communications efforts to drive informed decisions and investments
Who you are:
- Bachelor's Degree in communications, marketing, or related field, preferred
- Minimum of 8+ years of professional experience managing strategic internal communications programs, preferably in a high growth tech organization
- Experience as a leader of internal communications programs, developing long-term strategy and able to connect tactical steps to the success of the big picture program
- Experience synthesizing business priorities into communications success
- Experience building trust and confidence with stakeholders and senior leadership
- An excellent verbal and written communicator, able to write effective content utilizing an appropriate writing style based on the message and intended audience
- An advocate for communications who reflects diversity and inclusion
- A builder who can assess our current communications vehicles and map a strategy to support our rapid growth
- An individual who thrives working autonomously and navigating ambiguity
- Desire to be part of a fast-moving, hyper-growth company
- Full-hearted and authentic, motivated by strong workplace relationships and an environment where one’s whole self is appreciated and affirmed
- Experience providing internal communications support for a business development function is highly desired.

The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full-time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year.
