Role Overview

  • Convert text from English to German while preserving the original content's meaning, context, and technical accuracy.
  • Ensure translations are culturally appropriate and comply with all regulatory requirements.
  • Focus on Life Sciences documents, including:
  • Patient-facing content
  • Pharmacy-related content
  • Investigator-facing content
  • Review translated documents to correct grammatical, syntactical, and typographical errors.
  • Ensure consistent terminology and style throughout the document.
  • Enhance readability and flow of translated content while maintaining the original meaning.
  • Perform quality checks to uphold the high standards required in the Life Sciences field.
  • Review and edit machine-translated content to ensure accuracy and fluency.
  • Correct mistranslations, inaccuracies, or awkward phrasings generated by machine translation tools.
  • Ensure post-edited text meets the same quality standards as human translation.
  • Work efficiently to meet throughput expectations

  • Main Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Life Sciences and medical document translation
  • CAT Tools: XTM/Phrase (license provided)
  • 1-hour unpaid training for Linguistic Validation projects
  • Standard Life Sciences test for investigator/patient-facing and pharmacy content
