Job Description
We're looking for a Digital Manager to join our growing activation team at Adapt. If you’re passionate about driving growth for a portfolio of local and global brands, this is the role for you. This role will focus on performance and strategic implementation across Search and other digital channels.
The primary focus of the role is to ensure the delivery of day-to-day Advertising activity, working towards set performance targets and ensuring campaign implementation is in line with agency best practice, driving success for the client.
This role requires outstanding performance and optimisation skills, strong client management skills, team management experience, and the ability to be a mentor digital media for all direct reports and peers across the agency.
Main Duties
Manage a client portfolio of paid media campaigns across Search and other digital platformsProactively build internal relationships & communicate technical subjects effectivelyMentor and tutor junior members of the team, for example with technical training on an ad platformEnsure campaigns deliver against a customer’s objectives while providing analysis and recommendations to improve performanceSupport senior team members with strategy developmentProactive reporting and analysis of data, and quality assurance of Paid Media SpecialistsDefine optimisation strategies for customersOwn the day to day delivery of paid media work against customer objectivesWork towards becoming a trusted advisor to clients through the communication of day to day performance management and strategies for short term performance improvementUnderstand and be able to explain best practice set up requirements for relevant paid media platforms and influence best practice sharingHave an understanding and interest in working across both international and B2B focused clientsBring ideas and knowledge to the agency on how we can grow and improve our offerings and work for clientsLead meetings and communication around day to day delivery for clientsDemonstrate commercial awareness, or project management skillsConfidently build campaigns, optimise and deliver meaningful insights for clientsAble to demonstrate proficiency at customer management and delivery/optimization/analysis/reporting across platformsDeliver robust frameworks for testing new strategiesRequirements & Experience
As a guide, we would expect a person to have a minimum of around 2-4 years in a role using Google Ads, Microsoft AdsDemonstrate implementation of multi-channel media strategies, advising on the right balance between search, and other mediaAble to demonstrate proficiency at customer management and delivery/optimisation/analysis/reporting across platformsStakeholder management skillsEnjoy educating clients about all things SearchGood negotiating skills paired with ability to dive deep into performance reportingKnowledge of account-based marketing (ABM) targeting tacticsExperience in managing monthly budgets exceeding £30k for multi-channel international campaignsKnowledge & experience of performance analysis, forecasting & creating high level & in depth reportsLinkedIn campaign management is a nice to haveExperience working with & advising on the implementation of tagging & trackingAmbitious, driven and passionate about all things digital, with an excellent comprehension of how search serves as the backbone of online conversionKey Competencies
