YOUR MISSION

Oversee and manage the complete People Operations processes (Payroll, Benefits, Onboarding, offboarding, lateral moves, mobility โ€ฆ)  across multiple international countries, ensuring compliance with local legal requirements.

THE JOURNEY

  • Responsibility of Payroll and People Operations for around 6 to 8 countries (mostly in Africa).
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of four HR professionals to drive performance and foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
  • Build consistent OKR to align the team's objectives with company goals and track progress effectively.
  • Conduct and coordinate internal audits to ensure the completeness and accuracy of Employee documentation.
  • Keep our employees happy by answering all their questions regarding Payroll & People operations procedures.
  • Collaborate with other department leaders to ensure smooth integration of HR processes with broader business operations.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve processes to achieve operational excellence and best practices in HR.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • Proven experience (at least 4 years) in payroll management and human resources.
  • Prior experience leading a team of payroll professionals, with excellent leadership and mentoring skills
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) in English - French or Italian or Arabic is a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, culturally diverse environment.
  • Proactive, hands-on, and eager to get your hands dirty!
  • Detailed oriented โ€“ you are a freak when it comes to details
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required, knowledge of Workday or Jira is a plus
  • Always looking for ways to improve the process and optimizing coordination between colleagues
  • An empathetic, inclusive and curious attitude
