What is a Sales Enablement Specialist @ SpotHero? 

As SpotHero’s Sales Enablement Specialist, you will play a central role in enhancing our sales organization’s effectiveness. Working directly with the sales representatives and managers, you will understand the needs and opportunities for the organization, creating solutions to help empower our sales teams, including onboarding, sales training and sales content management. You will partner closely with Katie (Senior Sales Enablement Manager), as well as Sales Operations, and our B2B Marketing Specialist to help inform, optimize and document Revenue workflows and processes. A combination of longer-term, strategic projects and shorter-term, quick wins will require a superior level of organization, collaboration and attention to detail. Your ability to multitask, foster working relationships at all organization levels, align teams and communicate effectively will be crucial to your success.

 

 

What you will get to do: 

  • Refine and implement our training strategy, program and curricula for new hires, tenured sales reps and sales managers.
  • Partner with Senior Sales Enablement Manager to develop and roll out a comprehensive sales playbook. 
  • Help create case studies, role plays, sales guides, process documentation, talking points and sales collateral to be referenced and used by the sales teams. 
  • Manage the sales enablement content repository, ensuring materials are current, trackable and shared effectively with all stakeholders. 
  • Propose, facilitate and conduct regular training sessions with the sales teams. 
  • Liaise with the B2B Marketing and Product Marketing to ensure all collateral and training materials are current and consistent.
  • Work closely with the Sales Operations team to drive content and processes that enable our sales teams to act efficiently and effectively. 
  • Help oversee the onboarding program for new hires, including tailored training plans, regular check-ins, cross-departmental collaboration and feedback sessions.
  • Determine content adoption metrics and training impact metrics to demonstrate the value of the program. 
  • Attend regular sales team meetings and check-ins with sales reps to maintain consistent level of engagement and open feedback. 
  • Attend site visits and external meetings to understand the business dynamics and provide deliverables that truly meet the needs of the team.
  • Plan and execute various communications to the sales teams.
  • Document and organize central team resources, such as an Initiatives Calendar.
  • Propose, strategize and help implement new ideas for sales effectiveness, such as webinars, development opportunities and sales incentives. 
  • Build working relationships with sales leadership to identify needs/skill gaps and build enablement deliverables and content around them. 
  • Help measure the effectiveness of Sales Enablement initiatives, adopting metrics and soliciting feedback from the teams at regular intervals.

What you bring: 

  • 2+ years of experience in Sales, Marketing, or Sales Enablement/Support
  • Passion for working with and improving sales people's productivity and performance.
  • Proficiency in Learning Management System and Content Management Platforms
  • Ability to work independently and cross-functionally.
  • Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Consistent track record of building productive and collaborative cross-functional relationships.
  • A clear understanding of sales methodology and processes.
  • Creative and strategic problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while producing quantifiable results.
  • Demonstrated strengths in organization, prioritization, and time management.



You may also have: 

  • Experience with a two-sided marketplace / B2B2C company.
  • Experience building sales tools, playbooks, training and certification programs.
  • Project Management experience.
  • Experience working with Salesforce, Mindtickle, Groove, Looker and Confluence.
  • Firsthand sales experience, perhaps even having carried a quota yourself.

Compensation in Illinois:

  • Depending on your skillset and experience, you can expect your base salary to be between $60,000 - $75,000 as well as a discretionary bonus and leading total rewards package including stock options.
